What does it take to design and build a rollercoaster, making sure a marble rolls into a plastic cup? Third graders would tell you a great deal of trial and error and cooperatively working as a team!

4B rotated between writing, Lego robotics, and STEM stations over the past three weeks. They learned a lot about the engineering process by building a tower that could hold up a basketball for at least 20 seconds! They also learned how to code a robot to do various tasks.

5th Grade Social Studies learned about a new Guinness World Record today! We had to give it a try!!

Second grade had many special visitors in the month of September! We loved meeting all our new friends!

Teacher fun in 1B and hard working Rangers of the Week!

Best of luck to John Gabel on Thursday and all our teams as they finish up their last weeks of their seasons and head into tournament and postseason. Thank you to our NK Fire Dept for always providing an awesome Fire Safety Day!

The fourth graders have been studying the Early Ohioan groups including the Moundbuilders. This week they became archaeologists and dug up some artifacts in their own mounds and middens!

Congratulations to the students in grades 4-6 who earned Ranger of the Month recognition for September. These students demonstrated the character quality of integrity through their actions. Great job, Rangers!!

Here are additional pictures from Mission Discovery!

Sophomores, juniors and seniors had the opportunity to participate in Mission Discovery last week. This experience provided students networking opportunities in a variety of career areas. Thanks to the many people who provided this experience to Auglaize County students.

Third graders had a gorgeous day to release the Painted Lady butterflies!

Thanks to Hunter Wellman for teaching the first graders all about corn and the corn belt. Fun fact: 1% of the corn grown becomes popcorn.

Come claim your things! Our lost and found is growing with the cool mornings and warm afternoons! Do you recognize anything?

5th grade participated in an engaging integrity lesson with our guidance counselor, Mrs Barhorst. After squeezing all the toothpaste out of the tube, they had just 3 minutes to try to put it back in! Just like the toothpaste, our words and actions can’t always be taken back.
