Thank you to Mrs. Tinsley for teaching 3rd graders about the upcoming eclipse! The students learned the different types and stages of an eclipse, how the moon orbits Earth, and that a total solar eclipse only occurs in the same place every 400 years.

High School Painting class is working on their Urban Watercolor sketches. Students first found an urban scene, preferably a street scene or a scene with buildings. They were instructed to use a good amount of water with a small amount of color, called a wash, as the base color. Students then built up color with a last step of using a fine point black sharpie to outline the image as a sketch. These will be beautiful hanging in our halls.

K-6 Spring Pictures are tomorrow, Friday 3/8, beginning at 8:30 am. Only those students with a PERMISSION SLIP will be photographed. Students should bring their permission slip with them tomorrow, if they haven't already brought it in. ***If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, then simply do not sign the permission slip. There is nothing more needed if you decline.
