Congratulations to this week's Rangers of the Week! They show their Ranger Pride by being accountable for their work, their choices, and their actions! Congratulations, Rangers!

1A Enjoying Fire Safety Day with Ms. Tiffany!

Fire Safety Day is always so much fun! Thank you NKFD for spending your day with us!

Thank you volunteer firefighters for an awesome afternoon! The third graders learned many valuable life lessons today! We appreciate you very much!

Fire Safety Day! Thank you, NK Fire Department, for taking time to help our students learn about fire safety! 🔥

K-3 PE students are wrapping up their soccer unit this week. Students are working on dribbling, passing, shooting, foot-eye coordination, thrown-ins, and more! Students are doing a great job supporting each other and working hard!

NK 6th graders got spooky today! In preparation for their upcoming spooky mini sagas, students read examples and brainstormed eerie settings, characters, and story ideas-- all by flashlight with spooky music to set the mood!

3B continued mastering their understanding of timelines by analyzing different years roller coasters were built and putting them in order to create a timeline. We of course had to build roller coasters afterwards! Lots of fun and team work!

Mrs. Gross's class celebrated earning a full reward jar with pj's and pancakes today! The students also enjoyed having blankets and a stuffy friend in the classroom while they
worked. What a fun Friday!

What does it take to design and build a rollercoaster, making sure a marble rolls into a plastic cup? Third graders would tell you a great deal of trial and error and cooperatively working as a team!

4B rotated between writing, Lego robotics, and STEM stations over the past three weeks. They learned a lot about the engineering process by building a tower that could hold up a basketball for at least 20 seconds! They also learned how to code a robot to do various tasks.

5th Grade Social Studies learned about a new Guinness World Record today! We had to give it a try!!

Second grade had many special visitors in the month of September! We loved meeting all our new friends!

Teacher fun in 1B and hard working Rangers of the Week!

Best of luck to John Gabel on Thursday and all our teams as they finish up their last weeks of their seasons and head into tournament and postseason. Thank you to our NK Fire Dept for always providing an awesome Fire Safety Day!

The fourth graders have been studying the Early Ohioan groups including the Moundbuilders. This week they became archaeologists and dug up some artifacts in their own mounds and middens!

Congratulations to the students in grades 4-6 who earned Ranger of the Month recognition for September. These students demonstrated the character quality of integrity through their actions. Great job, Rangers!!

Here are additional pictures from Mission Discovery!

Sophomores, juniors and seniors had the opportunity to participate in Mission Discovery last week. This experience provided students networking opportunities in a variety of career areas. Thanks to the many people who provided this experience to Auglaize County students.

Third graders had a gorgeous day to release the Painted Lady butterflies!
