7th graders competed in the Ancient Greek Olympics with Chariot Racing, Relay Racing and long jump among others.

The 8th graders got to work with their peers and move around to the 4 grammar stations in Mr Sailer's ELA class. They obviously had fun and learned at the same time!

This past week has been busy for the Ag Education kids. Two of our middle schoolers completed in the State Middle School Career Conversation Contest and finished 2nd and 3rd in the State. We also had some officers running events for Christmas in the Village.

Don't forget to order your yearbook before next Friday! Yearbooks are still $50.00 until December 19th. They will go up to $55.00.

Our third graders took a special trip to Town Hall as part of our government unit! They had the opportunity to meet with Mayor Leffel and ask thoughtful questions about how our local government works.

Mrs. Gross's second graders enjoyed making cinnamon synonym rolls today!

Congratulations to the K-3 Rangers of the week! You show kindness to your peers, and we are so proud of you! Keep it up, Rangers!

The NK LEGO Robotics team, the Lone Rangers, made a presentation at the school board meeting on November 24. They showed their impressive coding skills for the current season's robot challenge called "Unearthed". Their competition will be on January 10 at Wright State University in Dayton!

4A students began presenting their "Passion Projects" last week. They researched a topic or question that sparked their curiosity and presented their knowledge with a slideshow or poster. We learned some very interesting information!

We will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2.
Yesterday was the 67th day of school! IYKYK! LOL! 1A had fun disguising their 6 7's.

Second grade had a fun filled day completing our Thanksgiving stations! 🦃

At the beginning of the year the 4th graders read the book One Word for Kids. They all picked a word to be their focus for the year. Today we revisited their word and made a keychain with their word to "refocus" for the rest of the school year! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Congratulations to the students in grades 4-6 who earned Ranger of the Month recognition for November. These students demonstrated the character quality of GRATITUDE through their words and actions!

Interested juniors and seniors recently took a college visit tour of the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima. Thanks to UNOH for welcoming our NK students to campus!
