Third graders enjoyed a beautiful day searching for Easter eggs! In order to review for the upcoming State Math Assessment, a mathematical equation was inside each egg for student partners to solve! They worked together and had an "egg"cellent time!
The third grade classes worked hard and had tons of fun reviewing their math skills with an Easter egg hunt!
8th grade students in Mr. Halko's American History class presented their Washington DC projects this week. The 8th grade will be traveling to Washington DC the last week of April to visit our nation's capital! 🇺🇸
Once again, a massive congratulations to Colton Grote for being awarded FIRST place in an energy logo drawing competition. Colton competed against other 4-7th graders in Ohio. The shirts turned out FANTASTIC! 🌎☀️🍃💡
Congrats to NK's zone God, flag, and country participants! Zeke Vergara placed 1st in the 10-11 age group, Elizabeth Lammers placed 4th in the 12-13 age group, and Keira Wellman placed 1st in the 14-15 age group. Zeke and Keira will move on to the state contest May 3! 🏆
Dads and daughters danced the night away at the annual Father-Daughter Dance!

Our First Grade March Madness Reading Competition winners are...The Houston Cougars consisting of Grant, Mia, Myles, and Asher! They read a total of 1,860 minutes! Way to go! I am so proud of my entire class for going above and beyond during this competition. Our class read a total of 5,980 minutes! 📖🏀
The high school gym class joined the elementary kids in a fun game of one base whiffle ball. The young kids just love to play with the older kids they look up to!!

New Knoxville High school had the pleasure of hosting Student Council members from St. Mary's in a student exchange, they were paired up with NK Student Council members and spent the day experiencing life at New Knoxville, tomorrow our students will spend the day at St. Mary's!
